Abstract
In the article we present the results of estimating the phagocytic activity and priming effect in the polymorphonuclear leukocytes of blood under the effect of Streptococcus pyogenes complex antigen in patients having acute purulent inflammatory diseases of skin and soft tissues against the background of type 2diabetes (with diabetic foot syndrome) and without it. The examination of patient's blood was performed by the method of barium sulfate-stimulated luminol-amplified chemiluminescence. On the basic of the obtained results it has been found out that the patients with diabetic foot syndrome had the reduction in phagocytic activity and priming effect of polymorphonuclear leukocytes as compared to the patients with no carbohydrate metabolism disorders. The significant negative correlation between phagocytic activity, priming effect in the polymorphonuclear leukocytes and blood hyperglycemia in diabetic foot syndrome was detected.

Abstract
Hodgkin lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin lymphomas are those of the most expected malignant neoplasms, which could be associated with radiation impact. There have been no epidemiological studies, which would describe lymphoma rates in Belarus for the long time after the Chernobyl disaster. Thus the aim of this study was to estimate lymphomas rates in Belarus within 1991-2014. Data of Belorussian Cancer Registry were analyzed by calculation of crude rates (CR), age-specific rates (AsR) and age standardized rates (ASR). Trend analysis was realized by investigation of average annual percentage change (APC). There were found 6,675 cases of Hodgkin lymphoma (С81.0 - С81.9) and 12,404 of Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (С82.0 - С85.9, С96) in Belarus within 1991-2014. CR and ASR of lymphomas are higher in males than females, but the return ASR of Hodgkin lymphoma is higher in females than males. CR and ASR are higher for urban than rural residents. Trend analysis showed the growth of both crude and standardized incidence rates of Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (APC is about 3.4%), but the return APS of Hodgkin lymphoma made up (-0.2%).

Abstract
The structure of hip and acetabulum injuries is shown according to medical histories of 112 patients. Almost a third of patients -34 cases (30.4%) were diagnosed the injuries of lower portions of urinary tracts, in particular - the bladder -22 cases (64.7%), and the utethra-12 cases (35.3%). Pelvic fractures made up 54 cases (48.2%). The type A pelvic fractures were observed in 9 patients (16.7%), the type B- in 36 patients (66.6%), and the type C - in 9 patients (16.7%). Acetabulum fractures made up 58 cases (51.8%), inter alia the type A fractures were diagnosed in 35 patients (60.3%), the type B - in 20 patients (34.5%), and the type C - in 3 patients (5.2%). 31 patients (57.4%) were operated on among the patients with pelvic fractures (n=54), and 20 patients with acetabulum fractures were operated on. The approach of managing hip and acetabulum fractures was due to the severity of patient’s condition, the type of pelvic and acetabulum fracture, as well as concomitant injuries.

Abstract
On the basis of the analysis of primary medical records of 106 (63 men and 43 women) patients aged from 18 up to 76 years, the methods of managing the complications after wisdom teeth extraction, which are applied in dental facilities of different forms of ownership were studied. It has been noticed that in some cases doctors make tactical mistakes in choosing a method of treating complications, in particular, dry socket syndrome or perforation of a maxillary sinus. In public municipal and organization-owned facilities dentists do not properly use the available wide range of medicines manufactured for managing infectious and inflammatory complications arising after tooth extraction.

Abstract
We enrolled 54 stable angina patients (class II-III on CCS Angina Grading Scale), aged from 50 to 70 years, and prescribed rosuvastatin 5 mg daily, with the possible increase in the dose to 10 mg to attain the target lipid levels according to Russian National Recommendations. After 6 and 12 months of observation the carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) was evaluated. Against the background of the achieved total cholesterol (TC) target levels (< 4 mmol/l) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) target levels (< 1.8 mmol/l) we noted a significant reduction in the maximum CIMT in the groups of patients who achieved target lipid values both at 5 and 10 mg dose, in the latter group this effect was increasing from 6 till 12 months of observation. The decrease in the mean CIMT became evident after 6 months of observation in patients who achieved target lipid levels at 5 mg dose, and after 12 months in patients at 10 mg dose. We found the direct correlation between LDL-C levels and maximum CIMT after 6 months of follow-up, and also between baseline left CIMT and LDL-C levels after 12 months of treatment.

Abstract
Gastric cancer and colon cancer are the most common ones among human malignant tumors. Based on the study of clinical and pathoanatomical material, it is established that the presence of blue eyes, wavy or curly hair on the head and A (II) blood group in a person of the Slavic ethnos is a witness to an increased predisposition to these malignant tumors and, apparently, to malignant neoplasms in general. At the same time, the set of the described phenotypic signs in patients in prognostic relation with already developed malignant tumor is associated with its more aggressive course. At the same time, the III blood group, sombre eyes, straight hair on the head, which gave grounds to consider these signs as "anti-cancer", were somewhat less common in tumor carriers.

Abstract
Despite the use of modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of surgical infections, there is a steady tendency to the increase in severe complications after acute odontogenic infections (abscesses, sepsis, mediastinitis, and secondary intracranial complications). Sepsis associated with purulent-inflammatory processes of the maxillofacial area mainly develops in the presence of background pathology (68.4%). Patients without background disease (64.8% and 83.9%, respectively) predominate in the group of patients with systemic inflammatory response syndrome and local forms of purulent infections. The most common background pathology involves the respiratory and cardiovascular systems (60%), and rarely - diabetes mellitus, mainly of the second type (about 20%). The background diseases of the digestive system include chronic viral and toxic hepatitis, the disease of operated stomach, alcoholic disease. Isolated cases are those of chronic renal failure requiring hemodialysis (2.4 percent).

Abstract
The article considers the questions of drug therapy with statins, β-blockers, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors / sartans and oral anticoagulants in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) in combination with atrial fibrillation (AF) at various stages of treatment according to the data of the RECVASA AF-Kursk registry. It is shown that, in comparison with the prehospital stage, the rate of prescribing these groups of drugs on discharging from hospital has increased, but has not significantly changed at the post-hospital stage and is not fully implemented. Moreover at the hospital stage, there was an insufficient achievement of target parameters of the lipid profile, heart rate and INR after treating with statins, β-blockers and warfarin, respectively. That is why, more adequate correction of risk factors and compliance with clinical recommendations in patients with CHD in combination with AF are required.

Abstract
The clinical manifestations, biochemical and microhemocirculatory disorders, electroneuromographic (ENMG) changes in patients with distal sensomotor neuropathy and neuropathic pain syndrome including 16 persons of the comparison group (basic therapy) and 25 - of the main group (basic therapy + blood intravenous laser irradiation + nicergoline) at the time of hospitalization and after the course of treatment were studied. The patients showed a mixed, predominantly axonal type of nerve damage with the most pronounced changes in the ENMG indicators of sensory fibers in the lower limbs nerves. The use of blood intravenous laser irradiation and nicergoline contributes to a significant decrease in the activation of lipid peroxidation reactions and an increase in the activity of superoxide dismutase, while maintaining redox shifts characterized by lactic acid and an increase in the lactate / pyruvate ratio. Along with this, a significant reduction in the blood content of the substance P, was achieved in the patients of the main group. More effective correction of the disturbances in the vasomotor function of the endothelium was achieved. The obtained data confirm the pathogenetic validity of the use of blood intravenous laser irradiation and nicergoline for the treatment of patients with distal sensomotor neuropathy and neuropathic pain syndrome.

Abstract
The influence of the conventional therapy on the state of cellular immunity and cytokine status in the blood of patients with perianal fistulas was studied. The development of perianal fistulas is accompanied by the formation of pronounced imbalance of lymphocyte subpopulations and cytokines. As a result of the traditional therapy 9 among 17 indicators changed were corrected. The imbalances in 3 indicators persisted, and in other 5 even increased. Thus, the conventional treatment of perianal fistulas in patients with chronic paraproctitis does not eliminate the formed imbalance of immunological indicators that requires immunomodulators to be included in the therapeutic scheme.

Abstract
The introduction of hepatotropic poisons into experimental rats’ body along with starvation and hypothermia increases efficiency on the first days of the introduction, and afterwards with continued exposure to damaging factors it leads to a sharp efficiency decrease and to appearance of splenocytes with ergosupressive properties. The use of vitamins A and B1 when used separately normalizes efficiency and their combined application cancel the action of ergosupressive effects of hepatotropic poisons. These effects are developed with the participation of splenocytes. The use of vitamins A, E and C causes a pronounced ergoprotective effect, and their co-administration with thiamine, carnitine and biotin improves efficiency in rats under the influence of starvation and hypothermia. This effect is intensified when used together with polyunsaturated phospholipids (Essentiale).

Abstract
The aim of this work was to establish a cardioprotective and endothelioprotective effects of some 3-hydroxypyridine derivatives in terms of L-NAME-induced deficiency of nitric oxide. The experiments were performed on Wistar rats. Derivatives of 3-hydroxypyridine (drugs: Mexidol (2-methyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine succinate) and Etoxidol (2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine malate), combination of beta-hydroxynicotinate 2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4-formyl-5-oxymethylpyridine dihydrochloride - PONKGP) were administered five times, every 24 hours, intraperitoneally: Etoxicol and Mexidol - 50 mg/kg, PONKGP - 35 mg/kg immediately after modeling endotoxin-induced endothelial dysfunction. It was found that the intensity of endothelio- and cardioprotective properties of the investigated 3-hydroxypyridine derivatives under the conditions of endotoxin-induced endothelial dysfunction is in the following order: Mexidol = PONKGP combination → Etoxicol.

Abstract
The study was conducted on 80 skulls of adult people systematized into 2 groups: I - with erupted third molars; II - with their bilateral retention. To study the vertical profiling of the face the total angle of the facial profile, the angle of the facial alveolar part, as well as the sides and angles of the facial triangle were measured. To study the horizontal profiling of the face, the values of the nasal and zygo-maxillary angles were measured. It was found that the total angle of the facial profile in both groups varies from 82 to 85°, the angle of the alveolar part is significantly larger with complete eruption of third molars. It is shown that in the group with bilateral retention of third molars, the values of the prosthion-basion distance are, on average, 10 mm less than in the group with fully erupted wisdom teeth; the value of the angle with the vertex at the nasion point is significantly less in the group with third molars retention, and the zygo-maxillary angle is significantly larger. It is proved that the complicated eruption of upper third molars is accompanied by changes in the structure of the gnathic part of the face and generally affects its vertical and horizontal profiling.

Abstract
The review presents a literature data review concerning the role of stress-induced elevation of corticosteroid secretion in the damage of hippocampus in rodents and primates. Hippocampal atrophy induced by corticosteroids may play an important role in the pathogenesis of a wide range of neuropsychiatric disorders. Hippocampus is necessary for short-term memory consolidation and HPA axis regulation. Signs of hippocampal damage (HPA dysregulation in combination with memory impairment) are found in affective disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, and in posttraumatic stress disorder. MRI volumetry reveals reduced hippocampal volume in these diseases. The evidence supporting the “glucocorticoid hypothesis” of psychiatric disorders is considered. The unresolved questions concerning temporary aspects of neurodegeneration, causality, reversibility, damage types, factors increasing hippocampal vulnerability, and both pharmacological (CRH antagonists, antiglucocorticoid drugs, GABA-ergic, serotoninergic, glutamatergic agents) and nonpharmacological (psychotherapy) treatment approaches are also under discussion.

Abstract
The aim of the present work was to develop an approach for producing tissue engineered constructs based on mesenchymal stromal cell culture and new-generation biodegradable synthetic polymer matrices obtained by the technology of surface-selective laser sintering. Primary mesenchymal stromal cells were derived from the pulp of naturally shed deciduous teeth. Following seeding, the cells were cultured on matrices for ten days. Cell viability was quantitatively assessed using CytoTox Assay (Promega) based on the colorimetric measurement of mitochondrial dehydrogenase activity. Cellular structure and spatial arrangement within a tissue-engineered matrix was visualized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), using supravital lanthanoid staining. The results obtained showed that matrices under development enable good cell adhesion and proliferation, and hence can be used as a cell carrier in tissue engineering. Thus, the techniques of surface-selective laser sintering, which was developed by us, could find wide use in regenerative medicine.

Abstract
We investigated the efficiency of using a combination of immunomodulator poludan with antioxidant histochrome in managing the experimental keratoconjunctivitis in guinea pigs under the background and elevated values of the magnetic field. It has been revealed that the combination of poludan and histochrome has a beneficial effect on immuno-metabolic factors of homeostasis in animals and improves the course of experimental keratoconjunctivitis in guinea pigs both in the background values of the geomagnetic field and the abnormal magnetic field. It is connected with the adequate activation of intracellular antimicrobial systems of phagocytes, lactoferrin, and ceruloplasmin, as well as the lower levels of malondialdehyde, superoxide dismutase, catalase, and lactate dehydrogenase.

Abstract
A method, involving high-performance liquid chromatography with diode-array detection, was developed for the quantitative determination of novocainamide and its metabolite (N-acetylnovocainamide) in saliva. Chromatographic condition of isocratic elution was established with Discovery C18 column, using mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and 5 mM phosphate buffer, pH 3.0 (28:72 vol.%), containing ion-pair reagent, 5 mM SDS. The interval of determination of novocainamide and its metabolite, N-acetylnovocainamide in saliva was 0.2 - 10 µg/ mL. Validation of the developed method was carried out on indicators of suitability of chromatographic system, selectivity, accuracy, linearity and reproducibility. The possibility of the application of the developed method was demonstrated for the assessment of individual metabolic phenotypes of acetylation of novocainamide in humans by evaluating the level of novocainamide content in saliva within 6 hours after administering a dose of 250 mg. The concentrations of novocainamide determined in saliva reliably differ for fast and slow acetylators.

Abstract
A metasystem approach to the study of social identity has been implemented. The results of studying social identity from the metasystem approach according to which social identity is considered as a system with an integrated metasystem level are presented. On the basis of the metasystem approach, a generalized concept of norm and disturbance of social identity has been created and realized in the main epistemological aspects (metasystem, structural, functional, genetic, and integrative), which provides a transition from a one-sided, analytical, and aspect study of social identity to a systemic one. It has been proved that the system of social identity is characterized by systemogenetic and metasystemogenetic patterns of development, not only in relation to the norm, but also in case of disturbances.

Abstract
The article presents the study of adaptation to the use of prostheses in patients with amputation of lower limbs in parameters of general sensitivity, pain sensitivity, as well as physiological manifestations (indices of arterial pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate). As a result of the study, it was established that the use of BOS-training technology allows to reduce both general and painful sensitivity alone in patients with amputation of lower extremities (with amputation of the leading leg, the nonleading leg, both lower limbs), raising the threshold of pain sensitivity. The use of biofeedback as a technology of adaptation to using prostheses after amputation of lower extremities makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the social functioning of this category of patients.
