Abstract
The article presents the results of the impact of a complex autohaemodonation method with hypervolemic hemodilution and neuraxial anesthesia techniques on managing the perioperative regimen. The examination has indicated that the use of the developed method leads to an improvement in the current intraoperative period, the decrease in the volume of intraoperative blood loss and complications and hypovolemic hypotonic state, improvement of hemostatic potential, and reduction in the percentage of massive obstetric hemorrhage from 1.4% to 0.4% along with the stability of the principle central hemodynamic indicators. In postoperative period the clinic, laboratory data suggest reducing inflammatory complications and the danger of their development. The received results enable the proposed methods to be used extensively in obstetric practice.

Abstract
In order to establish the severity of interstitial myocardial fibrosis in different types of geometric left ventricular remodeling during aging we examined 100 elderly patients with II-III stage arterial hypertension (AH) by electro- and echocardiography with calculation of the index of interstitial collagen volume fraction. It was found that the progression of the interstitial fibrosis severity is accompanied by reducing a number of patients with the regular geometry of the left ventricle (LV) myocardium and its isolated form and a substantial increase in concentric types of remodeling. Typing LV geometry and evaluation of myocardial fibrosis intensity of its extracellular matrix against the background of arterial hypertension in aging are necessary for the development of individual corrective measures to improve the functioning, quality of life and prognosis.

Abstract
Increase in pharmacotherapeutic efficiency for patients with arterial hypertension is one of the topical problems in modern cardiology. The work deals with the comparative assessment of influence of three options of the combined pharmacotherapy in patients with arterial hypertension of high and vital risk on a daily profile of arterial pressure. The research revealed that the studied schemes of the second or fourth stage of therapy led to a reliable positive dynamics of the principle indicators of daily monitoring of arterial pressure in the patients examined. When carrying out the intergroup analysis it was established that the combination of Amlodipinе and Lisinopril (Ekvator) both as an initial therapy for arterial hypertension of high and vital risk and in combination with preparations of the third and fourth stages of treatment allowed to provide more expressed (р<0.05-0.001) hypotensive effect in comparison with pharmacotherapeutic schemes based on free combinations of Amlodipinе and Lisinopril or Ramipril.

Abstract
We investigated barium sulfate stimulated lucigenin-dependent chemiluminescence (SLССHL) blood after pre-incubation of blood samples with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), tartrazine, acting as pseudoallergens, in patients with their intolerance and healthy donors. It is revealed that in almost all the concentrations of NSAIDs the indicators of SLССHL blood in patients with intolerance to NSAIDs was significantly lower than those of healthy donors that indirectly indicates the inhibition of activity of NADPH oxidase of polymorphonuclear blood leukocytes. In patients with intolerance to tartrazine the indicators of SLССHL blood had no significant differences from those of healthy donors.

Abstract
We studied the primary medical records (PMR) of 5292 patients (3781 (71.45%) males and 1511 (28.55%) females) aged 22 to 55 years old (young and middle age). The patients examined involved 851 (728 males and 123 females) students of military schools and 1577 (1303 men and 274 women) officers who were treated in the departmental dental care institution, as well as 1214 (526 men and 688 women) young people and 1650 (1224 men and 426 women) middle-aged man who received treatment in the public dental care institution (DCI). We determined the patient's reason for seeking dental care (emergency care for acute toothache, routine treatment due to chronic dental disease, patient's visit in connection with routine dental sanation). Special attention was given to the complicated caries (pulpitis, periodontitis) as a reason for seeking emergency or routine dental care. It was established that during the routine oral cavity sanation the complicated forms of caries are observed much rarer and are not the principle reason for seeking emergency dental care. The authors note a large number of mistakes in conducting PMR, which were revealed both in the departmental and public dental hospitals.

Abstract
The clinical dental examination was performed in 122 patients aged 20 to 69 years with chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's disease and chronic ulcerative colitis). The high prevalence of dental caries and non-carious lesions of hard dental tissues, namely enamel erosion, sphenoid defects and excessive attrition of teeth was revealed. It is the chronic generalized parodontitis that mostly occurs in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases. Lesions of oral mucosa include chronic catarrhal stomatitis and chronic recurrent aphthous stomatitis. Assessing the patients’ oral hygiene by Green-Vermillion’s hygienic index shows that there are no significant differences in the level of dental hygiene in patients with inflammatory bowel disease and in the control group. The dental service for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases is characterized as inadequate.

Abstract
We determined the participation of biologically active substances (cellular mediators, cytokines) in the development of blood inhibition induced by barium sulfate luminol-dependent chemiluminescence (SLCHL) caused by Tartrazine in patients with intolerance of this colorant using a chemiluminescent method and the method of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. It is revealed that the main contribution to the development of the phenomenon is made by mediator mechanisms. A significant role to the development of this phenomenon is played by H1 - and H2 - histamine receptors, 5-HT2 serotonin receptors, and Cys-leukotriene receptors. Proinflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-8, TNF-α, and IFN-γ do not participate in the realization of the phenomenon of inhibition SLCHL blood under the influence of Tartrazine in patients with intolerance. The anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-4 makes a minor contribution to the development of that phenomenon.

Abstract
The possibility of using Resveratrol for pharmacological preconditioning in surgery is studied. The experiment was carried out on Wistar rats. The influence of Resveratrol on the survival of isolated skin pedicle flap and the microvasculature condition in the ischemic skeletal muscle was determined in comparison with the effect of distant ischemic preconditioning. Ischemia was modeled on leg muscles of rats. The microvasculature condition was assessed by laser Doppler flowmetry and histological examination. It was revealed that Resveratrol improves the survival of isolated skin pedicle flap and stimulates angiogenesis in the ischemic leg muscles of rats. The obtained results allow the possibility of further experimental studies of Resveratrol for pharmacological preconditioning in surgery.

Abstract
The correction of endothelial dysfunction is currently the most important component of cardiovascular therapy. The drugs used for pathogenetic treatment have a wide range of protective effects that can be enhanced by combining with the well-known drug Magnesium Orotate. We assessed the impact of 0.33 mg/kg/day and 0.66 mg/kg/day Rosuvastatin (Rozart) and 100 mg/kg/day Magnesium Orotate and their combined administration on lipid peroxidation level in rats’ serum in experimental endothelial dysfunction. The study revealed that the combined use of low-dose Rosuvastatin and Magnesium can decrease lipid peroxidation level in rats’ serum.

Abstract
Nowadays in modern historiography physicians-historians consider the theory of atomism as a scientific origin and development of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medicine as a whole. The purpose of this study was to deepen the knowledge of the effects which the atomic theory had on discovering the causes and mechanisms of the pathology formation by ancient physicians of Alexandria Medical School during III-II centuries BC. The results approved that Erasistratus and his followers, which were also the opponents of Galen, were not able to understand the disease pattern completely using the atomic theory. That is why; those ancient physicians were not able to estimate the patient’s condition in the context of its individuality, particular characteristics of the disease, special aspects of its pathogenesis, which requires a differentiated approach to the choice of therapeutic method and tactics.

Abstract
The study of antioxidant activity in animals after simulating experimental renal failure revealed the decrease in the level of system principle enzymes, namely superoxide dismutase and catalase on the 7th and 14th days of the study. These results may indicate a decrease in antioxidant protective abilities and the activation of lipid peroxidation in tissues of the organ examined. The subsequent introduction of the mesenchymal stem cells grown in apoptosis-induced environment led to the increased level of the enzymes studied in renal tissue comparing to the control group of animals on these days and comparing to intact animals by the14th day of the experiment.

Abstract
The purpose of our study is to increase efficiency of autoplastic methods of hernia repair through developing the new relaxing incision of the rectus sheath. In the experiment on 80 cadavers the tension of a U-shaped suture in the medial angle of inguinal canal was measured by means of a spring dynamometer before and after the relaxing incision of the rectus sheath. The objects examined were randomized into four groups. In the first group we investigated the proposed wave-like relaxing incision. In other groups were used traditional methods. The maximum relaxation of a U-shaped suture in the medial angle of inguinal canal (41%) was observed by using a wave-like relaxing incision of the rectus sheath. An arciform relaxing incision reduced the tension of a U-shaped suture by 30%. A relaxing effect of a vertical relaxing incision made up 24%. An angle relaxing incision showed the minimal relaxation of the suture - 16%. The developed wave-like relaxing incision of the rectus sheath in comparison with traditional techniques allows to reduce efficiently the tissue tension in autoplastic methods of inguinal hernia repair of hernas.

Abstract
A new original drug formulation for managing hypertension - combined tablets codenamed “Bisopamid” was presented. The combination of active pharmaceutical ingredients of different pharmacological groups expands the mechanisms of antihypertensive action, reduces the incidence of side effects, prevents organ damage, increases compliance of patients to treatment. The methods of identification and quantitative analysis of new antihypertensive multicomponent tablets “Bisopamid” by HPLC were developed for quality control of the proposed formulation. The advantage of the proposed method is the possibility of simultaneous identification and quantification of the content of the three active pharmaceutical ingredients in a combined preparation (bisoprolol, lisinopril, indapamide). The techniques were used for analyzing the experimental samples of the drug. The results are well reproducible and credible. The developed techniques were introduced in the document ‘Guidelines for quality control of a medicinal product”.

Abstract
The correlation analysis revealed the relations between characteristics of M-response and speed of distribution of excitement along radial, median, and ulnar nerves and indicators of bimanual coordination of any voluntary movements. Some sexual distinctions in integration of the effector apparatus with the level of physical activity were established in learning bimanual skills depending on task complexity. The voluntary coordination in men is realized mainly by muscular structures innervated with a median nerve of right forearm. In women this process is controlled by a radial nerve of a left hand that results in possible discoordination of movements and complicates the formation of motor skills. In both groups of subjects the correction program is carried out after making a mistake.

Abstract
The article presents the results of studying the descriptors of interceptive sensations in phantom limb pain in people after lower limb amputations. After lower limb amputations patients suffer from painful sensations. The number of descriptors tends to grow with the increase in the intensity of pain. The analysis of lingvo semantic signification of pain sensations and emotional attitude to pain indicates a high differentiation degree of semantic units in intensive pain; while people with mild pain in the phantom limb pain manifested narrowing of the range of significant lingvo semantic units.
