Journal “Humans and their health" is a regular peer-reviewed printed scientific periodical founded in 1998 by the Kursk State Medical University, the Central Black-Earth Scientific Center of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Kursk Regional Branch of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. The previous name was “Kursk Scientific and Practical Bulletin “Man and His Health” (until 2021). From 2007 to the present time the periodical is included into List of the Higher Attestation Commission.

At present time the publisher of the journal is the Kursk State Medical University. Throughout its history, the magazine published more than 2,000 articles on topical issues of clinical medicine, biomedical sciences, pharmacy, psychology, public health.

On the pages of the journal presented the scientific works not only from the cities of the Central Chernozem Region (Kursk, Voronezh, Belgorod, Orel), but also from scientific, educational and medical institutions of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Saratov, Samara, Ufa, Orenburg, Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Tomsk, Izhevsk, Ivanovo, Irkutsk, Chelyabinsk, Pyatigorsk and other cities. Authors from other far abroad countries (Germany, China, Italy, Austria, Luxembourg, Denmark, Greece, the Republic of Cyprus) and CIS countries (Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan) publish their works in the journal .
