The study along with anthropometric data uses the data on students’ academic performance while entering a university and during their training, body fat percentage, the level of physical activity and diet. 219 people participated in the research. The study identified the main factors related to smoking in adolescent individuals: sex, sedentary lifestyle and physical activity in general. Such an approach could enable to develop preventive measures and/or methods for their detection in the early stages of development, when intervention is the most effective.
