The research was devoted to specific features of immune status of patients with combined herpes simplex virus and papilloma virus infection (HSV/HPV). The following changes has been revealed: significantly increased amount of NK-cells with prevalence of CD16-56+ NK phenotype; moderately increased amount of CD8+ Ò-cells with expression of HLA-DR, α-chain of Il-2 (CD25) receptor and formation of cells carrying both CD45RA and CD45RO types of molecules; decreased relative amount of CD4+ Ò-cells (as a result of hyperplasia of NK-cells) with shifted content of "memory" CD4+CD45RA-/RO+ cells and regulatory CD4+25+ cells; moderate monocytosis and increasing of band-formed neutrofiles; shifted levels of IgG and CIC. These changes are an evidence of a chronic active reaction of immune system on a viral infection as well as a beginning decompensation of some mechanisms of antiinfectious defense.

Key words: herpes simplex virus infection, papilloma virus infection, immune system
